CREEating Value – 7 February 2007

CREEating Value – About once a week I go through my feed reader and pull out a few gems that bring value to you as a business blogger. Here are this week’s juicy finds.

Enjoy!

Success from the Nest (feed) – Tony D. Clark is incredibly talented. He posts about working from home with an eye towards keeping balance, excitement and creativity alive. His Creative Venture podcast is also great stuff. But the best part is clicking through his feed and seeing his phenomenal theme full of his original cartoon drawings. Worth way more than the price of admission.

One By One Media (feed) – Jim Turner and the gang at OBYM are business communication specialists who are 100% sold on the value of blogging. They share tons of valuable information that can help any business blogger become even more effective and successful. In fact, they are so sold on the value of blogging that they are in the process of doing away with their old company site that their blog supported and becoming all blog, all the time. (So if you find a bad link or two, think about their guts taking on the daunting challenge of changing the URL of every post from nearly two years of blogging!)

Trevor’s Writing (feed) – Most of us bloggers are writers of one degree or another. For those who blog in support of their business, writing is often not a primary skill. Trevor Hampel is an Australian who can help. He’s a teacher, writer, librarian – someone who’s full of insight and willing to share. Sometimes it’s a little poetry, or some sage advice. Regardless it is always a treat in my reader.

Hey Chris – Thanks for the mention and the kind words. You’ve profiled some great sites in this series. I’m honored to be included among them.

Tony, Glad to share. Besides, why should I keep all the goodness from folks like you to myself? No one wins if I’m stingy! :)

Hey Chris, thanks for the link. How about we get a blogger meetup or Savannah blogcamp on Thursday evening on the 22nd. I’d love to meet a bunch of bloggers in the Savannah area or perhaps business people wanting blogs!

OOh! A meetup! What a great excuse to get together. Let me put my noodling hat on and see what I can muster up!

Any Savannah takers out there interested in getting together on the 22nd when Jim is in town?

Hey Chris – know where I can get some REALLY cheap tickets to get me from the Land Down Under to Savannah?

Mmmm – didn’t think you’d come up with anything. Anyway – thanks for the kind comments. (Blushes deeply, rereads for the fifteenth time).

I’m afraid I can’t help so much on the transportation, Trevor. But I think I do know a place you could stay for a couple of days if you ever do find yourself in our fair city…
