Yes its true google chrome is more fast that others browsers, but still have some problems with the DNS

I’ve been testing Google Chrome for Mac for a few days now and I’m very happy with it’s performance. Particularly the rendering speed. It just feels right and the UI is clean and classy. So far, it is very stable.

Just like you, I rely on 1Password for password management. But since Chrome uses Mac OS X Keychain for storing and retrieving passwords, you have the option to let chrome remember your online passwords. No synching with other browsers and other machines though.

Thanks for this Chris. I just downloaded the developer version of Chrome for mac and was delighted to see how fast it was. However, as you rightly point out, without better bookmark management and 1Password support, I am not going to switch.

I’m new to blog and stuffs like that but I can strongly say that google must come with a final version rather than beta!!. Google Chrome is good at times but I feel privacy is lacked in G Chrome. They are easy to run but I reserve G chrome until they release final version.

I’ve been tempted to dive into Chrome, but as a web developer who runs a flash game portal, I really find myself needing a lot of the Firefox extentions I use, they just can’t be replaced. As a browser itself, I’m sure Chrome is excellent, I however will find myself with Firefox until Chrome is as easily expandable (and worked on by developers) as Firefox is.

On a more related note, I had no idea that Chrome wasn’t already available for Macs, I really don’t follow them at all, but I’m surprised I’m just hearing this now.

I totally thought you were my friend Brandon Carter… small world but I guess similar names aren’t uncommon. That’s why I made the comment about a “friend of mine”.. because he works at Apple and he got me a Mac for a good deal lol.

I definitely recommend a mac. A buddy of mine helped me get one and it’s been amazing. He’s such a good friend, though I haven’t seen him much recently. I’m sure you’ll hear news of Google Chrome for Mac, Google Chrome is AMAZING
