CREEating Value – 8 March 2007

CREEating Value – About once a week I go through my feed reader and pull out a few gems that bring value to you as a business blogger.

Here are this week’s juicy finds.

Enjoy!

Talking Story (feed) – Rosa Say is one of those names you will see all over the blogosphere if you hang around just a little while (and keep your eyes open). I see her dropping in on all sorts of places generously spreading her wisdom far and wide. She’s published a book, Managing with Aloha, where she shares 19 different Hawaiian values and how they can help managers in the business setting. And in her blog she freely shares tidbits of that Hawaiian wisdom for all of us to take in.

901am (feed) – Started by David Krug, but now with more contributers to mention, 901am sports a tag line that says “New media news every morning.” And they do serve up a healthy portion of news and anecdotes along with a steady dose of what-the-heck-is-going-on-out there. It’s not unusual for the 901am gang to serve up 5+ posts in a given day. I scan their headlines pretty much every day and usually find at least one or two posts that are “must reads”. Just know that some of their stuff can be a little course. It may not be the right flavor for everyone.

The Blog Herald (feed) – Speaking of new media news sources, The Blog Herald is another “must have” feeds in my reader. The Blog Herald had a bumpy 2006, changing ownership twice in less than a year. But the dust seems to have settled over there and they’ve found their groove. There are a ton of contributing writers who keep the information flowing. It’s another blog that regularly has 7 or 8 posts a day. But with all those contributers they seem to have their finger on the pulse of the bloggosphere. Well worth regularly scanning their headlines on a regular basis.

Aloha Chris, thank you for the kind mention, and for so generously sharing my feed with your readers!
