No harm done ;-) 'Gave' you the benefit of the doubt anyway.

and yes, consistency in quality is very important. We like to say/tell we are passionate about quality ourselves for our prospect/customers. It works, we seem to get the message across through blogs, statice websites, emails, brochures, leaflets and more important: face-to-face conversations.

Karin My most intense apologies for getting your name wrong.

My mom's twin sister is Karen (Sharon & Karen), I was multitasking poorly, and in a sleep deprived state, there were locusts, a flood was coming, and momma's cooking cabbage.

OK so none of those lame ideas excuse my lack of attention. Sorry.

And I think you are right by the way. Consistency and focus are important

Reading a post at Kent's 'place' I trecked-forward to Mike Shaffners blog. It's a book review on language use and quality in it/from it, might interest you too Mark!
One of the things said is:"Consistency Matters - Repetition leads to credibility plus even though you've said it many times before it still may be new to someone in your audience. Stay on message."

Chris Caa, hope you noticed the smiley behind my question, sure you did.
I'm with Mark, you can focus completely on quality in blogging, but if you blog to become a profitable business, the quality doesn't end there. It has to be embodied in all dealings with 'readers'/prospects/customers.

BTW, it's KARIN, a quality name on its own;-)

True, Karin H.

Why people don't try to be excellent in everything they do is beyond me. We're just lazy, I guess.

This post reminds me of something I read from Mal Warwick or maybe Flint McGlaughlin. They didn't measure quantity, they measured consistency. And they found that regular contacts were very important for newsletters at least. If a newsletter came out late one month, their open rate and click through rate plummeted. (I wish I could find the study!)

That's a good reminder to people like me. Better to post every M-W-F, than to binge post daily for one week and then fall silent for several days.

Well, Karen, the question was open ended. But the conversation seemed to gravitate toward blogging.
