Had a great conversation last night talking about success on BlogTalkRadio with Wayne Hurlbert.
We talked about what it takes to be successful. Took a look at what success looks like and how to get there.
And of course we talked about success in blogging and how it relates to business.
If you aren’t a subscriber to Wayne’s show, you should be. He’s had folks like Heidi Miller and Liz Strauss on his show. And perhaps my favorite was the hour he gave us talking with Judith Wieigel.
If you ever toyed with the idea of running off to the circus as a kid, go find that episode! Too funny.
Wayne’s got a great way of making his guests feel comfortable. Once I got over my nervousness and settled down a bit we had a great time!
Thanks Wayne! I had a blast.
The rest of you head on over and subscribe to his show!

Just finished listening to the replay of the show last night - good stuff.
I really related to the fear of failure, the need to know your destination, the idea that there must be something more, and evaluating your goals against your values. I got a lot out of it.
When SuccessCREEations decides it needs a Realtor on staff, let me know - I’ll send you my resume!
Thanks April. I’m glad you found some nuggets to take away. A staff Realtor. Interesting idea. Hmmm….
Chris,
That was great! Thanks for doing the interview (and pointing me to yet another online audio resource in the process).
I loved your last piece of advice… seek the truth. Trying to stay away from the BS and sticking with the fundamentals, while still being open to new ideas (or new ways of expressing old ones) can be quite a balancing act. But it can be done with that little bit of advice… seek the truth.
And thank you for the advice about relationships. I’m working on that myself, mostly in the little things… the thoughtful thank yous, the willingness to help. I’m no longer in my own little world, and I like it!
This is probably the longest comment I’ve ever left on someone else’s blog… but I really enjoyed what you had to say. Thank you for taking the time to do it, and for letting us know about it.
Thanks Lyman for the kind words. I am glad you found some things in that hour that had value.
