If you sell some of your time to a job that isn't contributing to your success, you're likely to lose most of your ambition and energy along the way, and without those you can't very well be successful. Of course, as long as you're already with a successful organization, it's moot. I'm just suggesting that if you haven't already gained success, saving your energy might be important too.
