Success Principle #3 - Your Integrity is NOT For Sale...

When's the best time to deal with an ethical dilemma? Is it easier to address it before it becomes a problem or to ignore it and hope for the best? Look to the wisdom of two of America's founding fathers for some insight....

Yeah, Oliver, I agree that it can be easy to ignore those hunches we all get that something's not quite right.

There is a section in that book I referenced on my first post (Leadership Lessons of the Navy SEALs) that is headed "You already know what to do."

In it the author points out that we almost always know in our gut what the right decision is.

The challenge is making that right decision and then facing the hard things that can result afterwards from doing the right thing. Because the right thing to do is often not the easy thing.

Very well said, Chris, I could not agree more with the fact that your integrity is what prevails in the end, not the money, not the fame or publicity.
On the other hand, and as you are experiencing first hand, it seems, this is never an easy choice and sometimes the little hunch, that something is just not right; that little nudge from the Holy Spirit is so small that it is way too easy to ignore or overlook.
