SuccessCREEations is all about helping businesses fuel growth through blogging.

But what does that mean, you ask?

Well that’s a question that can best be answered in two parts. First we’ll look at the blog itself. Then I’ll share a little about the person at the helm of this ship that is SuccessCREEations.

About the Blog

SuccessCREEations originally started as an effort to actually apply some of the best success principles out there. The idea was that there is a lot of theory out there about how to be successful. I’d been reading about it for years. But there is precious little that explains practical steps to actually put the principles to work.

At the beginning SuccessCREEations was an attempt to take success principles out of the theoretical world and get them working in order to see real life improving results. It was sort of an open source self improvement project where folks could bounce around ideas and everyone could take away the best of them to see some actual improvement.

It worked better than I ever expected.

In less than 90 days (which included a blogging sabbatical of nearly three weeks for a time of personal introspection) I realized that I would be more successful by aligning my career with my personal passions. Two of my passions are blogging and business. A reorienting of SuccessCREEations to focus on business blogging has been the result.

You will notice that many of my posts tend to be a little longer than those of may other bloggers. That is because I truly love explaining things in ways that help other folks understand them. And I can get long winded in my explanations here. My wife once told me, “Chris, if someone asks you for the time of day, you tell them how to build a watch.”

I really hope that you are able to find some information here that will help you learn to use blogging as an effective tool that has a real world, practical and positive impact on the bottom line of your business. I want to hear stories about how SuccessCREEations has helped make your business more profitable.

About The Author

My name is Chris Cree and I’m just a regular guy. I’m a former Naval Officer and have over 10 years experience post Navy in the business world.

Much of my career has been in operations. and most of that has been in the maritime industry. So I know how to get things done, and make things happen. As an operations guy I understand how important it is for your business to get the most from its resources and spend money as efficiently as possible.

I started my first blog in September of 2005, which in blogging terms means I’ve been doing this a while. To help you put that into perspective, in Sept 05, Technorati (the popular blog tracking service) was tracking about 16 million blogs. As of this writing they are tracking about 60 million, and that number is growing by about 175,000 blogs every day.

As your business blogging consultant I see my job is to help you successfully integrate blogging into your overall business strategy. Blogging is my thing and I’m passionate about it because I understand how tremendously beneficial it can be to your businesses profitability.

I don’t see blogging as a complete replacement for a well balanced, multi-faceted marketing strategy. But as far as efficient use of resources and bang for your marketing buck goes, I know that when implemented properly blogging has the potential to become the single most powerful weapon in your marketing arsenal.

It’s my job to help you make that happen and avoid some of the pitfalls along the way.

I have a tenancy to weave in nautical themes throughout my explanations because that is what I know. For example the current blog logo is a lighthouse that is local to Savannah where I live.

The lighthouse symbolizes what SuccessCREEations is all about. We’re a beacon to help you navigate past the dangerous waters that can cause your business blogging efforts to run aground. With my help you will be able to bring the ship of your business safely into port and see your profits increase as a result of blogging efforts.
